Recently, I saw a video from a TED Talk. TED Talk is a platform where expert speakers try to inspire others. There was one woman who was talking about communication and the influence of social networks on our lives, and how to stop and not let technology enslave us. She said that we have to go cold turkey and ask ourselves one question: does technology serve our human purposes? If we answer no, we have to put our phones down and interact with others, have conversations, because our lives would be better if we do so. I was so inspired, and I felt a sense of happiness that I could actually do this and stop technology from ruling me.
