This quote has actually helped me a lot during the latest years of my life and helped me improve my life a lot. I used to be an SDLam, a workaholic, meaning that I have been enjoying working a lot, I have been enjoying working during my working hours, but also during evenings, during the weekends, during holidays, during family vacation. This has actually, although improved my performance, my salary and my grades when I was in school. This however had downgraded the quality of life since no person can really be happy when he’s only working and he’s focusing only on his work. How I use this advice was to actually enable myself to enjoy life a bit more, to get more loose and to try to find a work-life balance. A work-life balance that was very necessary for me to devote some time for my family, for my close friends, for my girlfriend, because at the end of the day these were the people that were around me that they supported me and due to these people I was able to perform all those tasks I was doing. You do these people, I was able to really give myself at work and I had not appreciated until then how much time they devoted to me, how much they supported me and how my life would be so different without them.
