For this topic I want to talk about computers actually, more specifically a laptop. I think the impact of a laptop on my life is quite huge to say the least. I first used a computer maybe in around 1998, I was still in elementary school. The user interface back then was a lot different compared to today’s computers. Especially because at the time we didn’t have Windows as an operating system, but I think it was more of a Windows star where the interface was not really based on pictures or graphic user interface that we can now enjoy but at the time it was more like a common line interface. It was a lot more difficult to use but nowadays with a better operating system like Windows 11 we can easily use a computer and with a computer I can basically explore the world without having to get out of my home. Computer and internet so the combo of both of these technologies they have allowed me to learn a lot of things. I’m now learning about computer science, for example, and I am doing it solely using my computer and the internet. From computer and the internet as well, I can actually work. So I work freelance as a teacher and I do that online. So I can just sit in front of my computer and do my work and can’t pay for it. So imagine earning money and and then also learning a lot of new things that will potentially be my other sources of income. So I think in that matter, computer and the internet, they have significant impacts on my life. So I’m grateful for that and I hope that I will also be involved in actually developing for the technology that will help people achieve whatever their goals are in life.
