Physical SIM cards are expected to become obsolete in the near future, owing to a few reasons. Firstly, we no longer need them because of eSIM. eSIM is an electronic version of a default SIM card. It's much more convenient for users because they can easily adjust them for their needs. Also, they can easily change them. At first I tried to use a default SIM card when I was approximately 7 years old. My parents had just bought me a new phone and they gave me a SIM card and explained to me how to use it. It was pretty okay for me. I didn't know what it was and I just knew that it was for communication with my parents and relatives. Although I started using this technology a long time ago, I still use it because for me it's more comfortable and familiar, whereas eSIM is unfamiliar for me and I don't know how to use it. If I had to choose between these two options, I would definitely choose a default one, because for me it's better and it's familiar. However, I understand that it will become completely obsolete in the near future. Recently, I actually tried to use eSIM. It was quite an interesting experience for me, because before that I had never used it, and I tried to adjust it for my needs. I did it quite successfully, I didn't face any obstacles. Therefore, I was quite satisfied with this experience and I'd like to continue using it and learn something new.
