I would like to talk about a piece of technology that I find difficult to use, which is video editing software on a computer. I first used it about two years ago when I wanted to create a short video for a school project. At first I thought it would be quite simple because I was already familiar with basic computer programs. However, I quickly realized that video editing was so much more complicated than I expected. What makes it difficult is a large number of features and tools available. There are different timelines, effects, transitions, audio settings and export options. Sometimes I don’t know which tool to use and even a small mistake can affect the entire project. In addition, the software often uses technical terms that are hard for beginners to understand. When I use this technology I usually feel a bit frustrated and confused especially when I can’t find the function I am looking for. However, I also feel satisfied whenever I manage to complete a video successfully. Although it is challenging, I believe that with more practice I will become more confident in using it.
