So, a place where I would love to be and I would recommend in my city back in Sri Lanka is Yala National Park, which is the biggest national park in Sri Lanka and home to about 54 different species of mammals and 154 species of birds. Yala National Park is situated on the southeastern side towards the Indian Ocean. There is a wide array of animals that can be seen in the national park, from the Sri Lankan leopards to the majestic elephants, which are in the Miktra region of Sri Lanka. Additionally, you can also see peacocks, crocodiles, eagles, and more. I really love visiting this place because it calms my mind and soul. Looking at the lush green forests and the biodiversity is truly amazing. The best time to visit Yala National Park is from February to July, as that's when the animals come out due to the dry season. The national park is closed during September since that's the monsoon season. So, I would say the best time to visit is during the months of February to July.
