To be honest, very few people spent their free time there because their simply wasn’t much to do. Things started to change a few years ago when the local government launched a major renovation project. Nowadays the park looks completely different. There are beautiful gardens, modern playgrounds, cycling lanes, outdoor gyms, fountains, cafes and even areas where people can attend concerts and community events. It’s become one of the busiest places in the city. I think this transformation happened because the city has been developing rapidly and the authorities wanted to improve people’s quality of life by creating more attractive people’s public spaces. As more families moved into the area, there was also a greater demand for places where people could relax and spend time together. Personally, I am really pleased with this change. Whenever I visit the park, it’s full of people jogging, chatting, and enjoying time with their families. It has created a much stronger sense of community and I genuinely think it’s made my hometown a better place to live.
