I can think of a place that's incredibly expensive, one that probably not many people know about. It's Cheung Chau Island, a small island district in Hong Kong. I was celebrating an anniversary with my boyfriend, and we had planned to visit Hong Kong Disneyland and see the Victoria Harbour night view. We took a ferry and ended up on Cheung Chau Island. At first, I didn't even know where it was, and it was already 7 or 8 pm, so we needed to find something to eat. We finally found a street stall selling sausages and fried eggs with pickled cucumbers. The shopkeeper told us it would cost HK$440. At that moment, we were shocked! That amount could easily feed a family of six a nice dinner. We stood there for a long time, feeling stunned. In the end, I paid the money reluctantly, afraid of embarrassment. The food was delicious, but the price was absolutely outrageous. I almost cried because I felt like my ignorance had led us to this unfamiliar place to eat something we shouldn't have. But on second thought, it made me realize that such places exist, and it taught me a valuable lesson: always ask the price first before ordering anything, and don't act impulsively until I'm sure.

We stood there for a long time. In the end I paid the money unhappily for fear of embarrassment although it takes delicious but the price is really unsetable on the waight I’d almost cry because I feel that because of my ignorance we went to the unfamilial destination to eat something that we shouldn’t eat but on the second thought it made me realize that there is such a place and it also teach me a lesson that I should ask the prize first in the future and don’t act uh, until I’m sure.
