All of my classmates discarded their samples and started again with new cells. Despite the potential of failure, I decided to take a risk. I chose to attempt to save my infected cells. My motivation was clear. If successful, this gamble could save months of my valuable time. Therefore, I treated my cells twice a day with a combination of estrilled water and salt solution. After three months’ persistent efforts, the contamination had been successfully eliminated. My cells started their normal growth. When I think about that time, I feel a sense of satisfaction and pride because I saved my valuable time. I believe that this experience was a confident booster for me.
