Although it is celebrated for the period of 15 days, the main event is usually in 5 days. In the 8th day of the celebration, the goat sacrificed for offering to God Kali. In the 10th day, who is celebrated by putting Tikka and the elders. So, they put Tikka on the forehead of the younger ones giving them lessons. Similarly, this is a period when the major economic activities of our country take place. The whole cities are usually vibrant because the people who are living abroad or in the city area came back to their villages. and the people celebrate with their loved ones. It is really a time where people living abroad apart from their family member come together and celebrate. It is an indication of the richness of Nepali culture.
