There was an environmental fair organized by local ngo in my hometown. Our school authority selected two students from our school to participate in a, uh. Um, declamination contest. I was chosen from the 10th class and we um, had only two days to prepare. Despite feeling nervous, uh, our teacher helped us to prepare on a global warming topic. To pressing issues of today. During the space, I discussed how global warming affects the inter planets and emphasize that the humans are both the causes and the solution to this problem. I highlighted the pollution caused by deforestation and industrialization. And the um, m use of car and the luxurious. Furthermore, I explain the effects of global warming like rising sea levels in changing climates. And uh, the spread of several diseases like tengu, malaria, coronavirus and so on. Uh, to address this issue, I propose a simple measures like preserv win trees, planting more trees, use, uh, recycled materials and avoiding plastic bags. Although I used to be ah, a stage shy. But I delivered the space confidently during the fair. And it will, um. It was m well u uh, received by everyone. To be honest, winning the first prize not only boosting my confidence level, but also made me realize my oratorical skills that day. What a special place in my heart, I will never forget to say. The sense of accomplishment and joy that I fet.
