So today I’m going to talk about a presentation I gave it to a group of S.E.S. students at Academy of Christ the King. The topic was about stress management. I chose that topic because I felt like it was one of the best way for the student to learn how to adjust properly in their new environment. When I first got the invite, I was a bit happy and at the same time anxious. I was happy because I’m going to impart my knowledge to other people and anxious because it was my first time talking to a large group of number like that. My topic focused mainly on three areas that was to how they will be able to identify a stressor, how they can manage it and also maintain a positive mindset. Honestly, I think this topic was really good because I noticed that most of them were struggling or most of them were suffering from anxiety and pressure from academics. were struggling to adjust into their new environment. Before the talk, as I said earlier, I was anxious. But when I noticed that they were calm, quiet listening to me, I became so confident of myself and I used a practical way to explain to them that is they taking a break in their studies and also they try and talk to people when they feel overwhelmed and they should talk to right people not just anyone then I use myself as a practical example to them how I use those techniques to adjust well in my I just wore when I was in high school and honestly at the end of the talk I was amazed with the questions they were asking. It truly made me fall.
