The most memorable occasion that someone gave me money as a gift was during Chinese New Year. I would give money to young children, and they do not need to pay it back. It occurs once a year during Chinese New Year in April. I would give my grandparents money every year when I was young. I think it's a Chinese tradition that we have to follow. We did it every year. The moment I received my first money as a gift, I felt incredibly excited because at that time I could not earn income by myself. So, the only time I could save money in my bank account was during Chinese New Year. At that moment, everyone felt happy because we gathered with all the family to exchange and talk to each other. We laughed together.
