I always remember helping my cousin Zahro last month. While visiting my aunt, I noticed 10-year-old Zahro looking worried. He was stressed about his science exam the next day. He couldn’t remember the planet’s order in our solar system. Seeing his stress, I immediately took action. First, the solar system was explained through a simple diagram. Then creative man-man-eating was taught to help him. Remember the planet? His anxiety was gradually replaced by understanding as we work together. Not only was visual learning used, but an educational video was also shown to reinforce the concept. By bedtime, Zahro’s confidence had grown remarkably. The next day, I was thrilled when he returned announcing he had scored the full marks. His excitement was contagious. Not only was knowledge shared in this moment, but our family bond was also strengthened. This experience reminded me how simple acts can make big differences. The satisfaction felt was immense. Not only was a child’s heart to succeed, but the joy of learning was also passed on. Such moments prove the patience and creativity in teaching are always rewarded.
