As a punctual person, I vividly remember the time when I was late for an important event. It was when I was studying in the 12th class, and my father was supposed to drop me at the event organized by my school at a nearby hotel. It was a farewell event, and I was supposed to host the event. So I was to reach the location, Ali, before everyone, but it was about a half-an-hour journey. As we were going, we found that our car broke down in the middle of the journey. And, upon checking, we found that it was due to some engine failure. Fortunately, we were near a mechanic's shop, and my father called the mechanic to check. As he checked, he found that it would take about an hour to repair the car. I went down in the dumps and felt very agitated and frustrated at that moment. I called my friend and told him about everything and also let him make sure that I would be late for about an hour. So he apologized to everyone. My friends had already reached the venue. And, after waiting for an hour, I also reached the place. When I went there, my class teacher was somewhat angry at me initially, but later, he eventually understood. Alright. So, I started the event by welcoming everyone and also apologized for my late arrival. So I felt very embarrassed at that moment because it was the first instance in my life where I had been late for something really important, and it was the last farewell event.
