I often have feelings of fear whenever I am in a known place that is not familiar to me. Memories are still vivid in my mind. In the year 2010, I traveled to the major city of Nairobi in my nation, and it was my first time visiting this urban area. I was accompanied by my brother, and unfortunately, when we arrived there, I got lost because of the traffic and the conditions in the city. I could not see exactly where my brother went. So, I found myself alone, and unfortunately, I did not have a phone, so it was very difficult for me to locate where my brother was or to seek help. For four minutes, I felt like my heart was cold because I did not know exactly what to do. I was almost crying, but I tried to control myself and then reorganized my thoughts so that I could locate exactly where my brother was. In case you are lost in the city, there is a major landmark, the tallest building in the city center, called Afia Centre. I had heard from a friend of mine previously that if you are in Nairobi and you get lost, just look for the tallest building, which is the landmark, Afia Centre. So, I borrowed this idea from my friend, located where this building was, and went there. Once I was there, I was finally able to maneuver my way through the congested city, where people were hustling and bustling with hawkers here and there. Finally, I managed to arrive at this landmark, and after getting to the landmark, I was able to locate where my brother was.
