I helped a master's student last year in my laboratory. She came in and didn't know anything about the lab, the analytical methods, or how to deal with our samples. I gave her many tips. I taught her how to handle the basics first and emphasized safety as a priority. Then I provided her with improvements and a description of the next steps on how to work with real samples, analyze data, and even interact with her supervisor. It was a tough journey, but it was also very rewarding. While I was guiding her through these steps, I enjoyed the experience because I also benefited from it. I gained valuable insights from teaching master's students and mastering these tools and methods alongside them. I even published this research, and I was one of the authors. Now she is a professional in her field and can handle anything. She has truly improved herself, and that's all.
