I vividly remember a time when I visited my young brother in preparing for his English test at school. Being in the 8th grade, he found himself struggling with certain topics, particularly in grammar, since he was having difficulty he turned to me for help. So I decided to focus on tutoring sessions on the present simple and past simple tenses, as these were crucial for his upcoming examination. Teaching my brother was quite a challenge. He had significant gaps in his understanding of English grammar, which made it difficult for him to grasp the concepts I was trying to explain. Additionally, maintaining his concentration proved to be another hurdle. Like many kids his age, he was easily distracted and would often prefer to spend time playing video games rather than studying. This meant I had to be creative in my approach to keep him engaged and focused during our sessions. To capture his interest, I employed various motivational tactics. I promise him rewards such as toys, pocket money or his favourite snacks if he completed certain tasks. Morale bear emphasised the importance of mastering those topics, not only for the immediate needs such as the test, but also for his future. I explained that being proficient in English would open up more opportunities for him down the roads, making it both relevant to billing. After a cheater and session I felt a deep sense of satisfaction. It was rewarding to see my brother gradually improve his understanding of English grammar. When he eventually performed better in his test, I felt proud knowing that I had played a part in that success. Helping him learn not only strengthened our bond as siblings, but also reinforced my belief in the importance of education and support in one another in overcoming challenges.
