So when I was working in my professional practices, I worked in a high school in my city. I had two grades, first and second grade in high school. My students had around 12 to 14 years old. And I remember one specific student on first grade of high school that really struggled with English and also had a problematic background, a familiar background that was quite difficult to manage. So these students doesn’t have good grades at high school and it was quite problematic as my co-worker said. So I remember one moment where these students doesn’t know how to answer a worksheet with some exercises about consensual and unconsensual nouns. so I first explained it, what is a countable and what is a non-countable noun, and then I translated the nouns into Spanish so he could understand what is the sentence saying. And he really catch fast what is a countable noun and complicate the words sheet. so he was really thankful and I don’t know but I feel really good about it because it was not like he don’t know about English, he just need someone to chair him and to help him to understand what he was doing and what he was supposed to do. And I really feel good because this is about teaching. This is teaching. It’s help another human to understand something in order to prepare them for life, in order to prepare them to be better in the future.
