Today I want to tell you about a time I had the chance to teach my younger sister how to cook. After watching a cooking show on TV with my family, my sister became interested in making food. So the next day, she asked me if I could teach her how to cook, and of course, I said yes. She was six years old at the time, so I couldn't do anything too complicated for her. After a minute, I decided to teach her how to make an omelet, one of the easiest dishes in the world. Firstly, I made a simple omelet for her to observe and understand how to make it. After that, I instructed her step-by-step to make sure she made it correctly. After a few mistakes and an hour of practice, she became proficient in making it. Finally, I let her do it by herself, and I tasted it. Surprisingly, her omelet was quite delicious. When I told her this, my sister was very happy and thanked me for teaching her. In the evening, my sister told our parents that she would make an omelet for dinner. Both my mom and dad were surprised, and after tasting her omelet, they were shocked by how good it was and praised her a lot, which made her feel over the moon. Since that time, I have taught her to make more difficult dishes than omelets, and now she has progressed so much that she can even cook a whole meal for my family.
