I'd like to talk about the time when I taught English to a high school student a few years ago. I was looking for a part-time job as an English tutor. At that time, I was fascinated by the intricacies of the language and excelled academically in English. I wanted to not only earn extra money but also share my knowledge with others. I found a student through an application who was eager to learn from me. I was determined to teach her as she seemed passionate about learning. However, the problem was that she lacked a strong foundation in English, especially basic reading skills and grammar. Therefore, I needed to devise a learning plan for her. We decided to study twice a week for three hours each session. Since we started studying regularly, I taught her basic grammar rules and made her memorize vocabulary so that she could improve efficiently. After one semester, she was able to increase her score and was very proud of herself. This experience was mutually beneficial for both of us, as teaching was a self-discovery process for me.
