When I was in school, we had to wear a long dress that reached the ankles. We had to wear a shirt underneath it. The color of the shirt was different depending on what level the students were in. My parents provided this uniform for me. We bought it from designated shops that were assigned to ensure uniformity. Looking back, I remember having mixed feelings. It's true that wearing a uniform ensures equality among students, especially teenagers. Students can be a bit cruel when picking on others' style or financial status. It was also great to wear a uniform because I didn't have to debate what to wear every morning. I also felt restricted and wished I could wear something that actually reflected my style.
