When I used to go to my school, we had a particular uniform that we had to wear. It was white in color and the color actually represented peace and striving to our excellence. My mom bought it for me when I was in my elementary school and there was a special tailor that we used to go because that fabric was only found in a couple of handful of places and the logo was a special embroidered logo that can only be bought from our own library. So we bought that logo and took it to the tailor to sew it. Now when I used to wear the uniform, it made me stand apart from other people. And as a kid, you know, you want to stand out and it gave me a sense of joy. And also when I used to wear this uniform, I felt quite different. I don’t know, for some reason it felt powerful. I was very proud of my institution when I was in elementary school. It was one of the best institution that you had. And wearing that particular uniform symbolizes that I am working towards being great. And I think my institution had a profound impact on how I developed because the elementary school usually has a huge impact on students’ development and their cognitive ability. And wearing that uniform actually made me feel like I am part of a group. Usually when I was a kid, I used to stay alone a lot of time. So wearing that uniform actually helped me to cope up with social anxiety. And also it had a different purpose. But I have to say that wearing this uniform is a bit difficult because it is white all over. And wearing a white uniform is quite cumbersome. Whenever it got dirty, the spots were visible quite clearly. You had to work a bit hard to remove the stains as well as with our school had a strict policy on dirty uniform. So I could not have any stains on them.
