If I am not mistaken, it is more than 1000 km long and over 300 km wide. It really looks like a sea with waves, beaches and a horizon you can’t see the end. In summer, many people go there for swimming and relaxing. The Caspian Sea is vital for Azerbaijan. There are some reasons for that. First of all, we get oil and natural gas from it. These are very essential for our country’s money and economy. Secondly, it supports fishing, especially sturgeon. People catch them for making black caviar. Finally, I can say that it is crucial for transport and trade with other countries.
