One of the most interesting buildings I know is the National Library of Latvia. It's located in Riga near the Daugava River. The first thing you will notice about this building is its unusual shape. It looks like a big mountain and the building is mostly made of glass, so it looks very modern. Inside the library is bright and very spacious because there are many large windows. And from the upper floors you have a very wonderful view of the whole city. As I said before, this building serves as a library now. And also there are several exhibition halls, conference rooms also, and places for different events. So people can come here to read, to study, to attend some events. Personally, I like this building because of its unusual shape and unusual design. Inside also, I think this building is an important symbol of Latvian culture and modern architecture.

Pronunciation

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

Task Response

The response effectively addresses all parts of the topic, providing clear information about the building's location, appearance, function, and reasons for finding it interesting. The description includes specific details such as the building's shape, materials, and interior features, and it incorporates personal perspective. To further enhance the response, consider adding more depth to the explanation of why the building is interesting, perhaps by including a personal anecdote or a more detailed reflection on its cultural significance. Additionally, expanding on the functions with examples of events or exhibitions could provide a richer answer.

Fluency & Coherence

The answer is generally coherent and organized, with a clear structure covering the points. However, there are some hesitations and repetitions (e.g., 'come here to come there'), and minor self-corrections. To improve, practice speaking more fluently with fewer pauses and use a wider range of cohesive devices to link ideas smoothly.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary used is adequate to describe the building, but there are inaccuracies (e.g., 'Vika' instead of 'Riga', 'Dalgora' instead of 'Daugava', 'Lodzian' instead of 'Latvian') and limited variation. Some phrases are repetitive ('unusual shape and unusual design'). To improve, expand your vocabulary related to architecture and places, and ensure accurate word choice. Use synonyms and more precise terms. Pay attention to vocabulary repetition to improve the overall score.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The grammar is mostly understandable, but there are errors such as 'there is several' (should be 'there are several'), 'As it said before' (should be 'As I said before'), and 'modern architect' (should be 'modern architecture'). There is some range in structures, but accuracy needs improvement. Practice using complex sentences and pay attention to subject-verb agreement and correct word forms.
