I would like to talk about an old lady who was also an, um, old acquaintance of my father. And so I met her, like, very long time ago because, um, me and my family used to visit him, visit her for very long time. So I love her when I was a, uh, child. And she kept an old local tradition which is called self commg, which involves women, like, styling their hair, like the one, like the hair of married women, um, to show that their destination, to remain single for the rest of their life. Because in the old time, women used to get mistreated by their husband, so they decided to do it. And this lady also told me that, uh, she immigrated to Singapore maybe a couple decades ago. And she walked over there for about ten years, and she managed to save up a lot of money and send them back to her siblings and their family and also to my family when we, uh, desperately need them. And so I feel very indebted and grateful to this lady and because she didn’t have any offspring, so I had been treating, uh, her like my grandmother. Yes.
