I’ve recently read a story on the Guardian website. It is an online news website that covers local, national and international news. So about a week ago I was browsing the website and I’ve come across a very interesting story for me which is the fall of a Syrian dictator. The Syrian regime and the people of Syria are the main two parties that were included in the story. About 13 years ago the people of Syria was in a revolution against the dictatorial regime of them. Their regime has been doing a lot of horrible and bad things for the people like capturing them, torturing them in many different ways. So all of these torture methods were exposed after the fall of the dictator and he fled away to a different country actually seeking a Salem of them. I think that the story was very interesting for me because I’m a Syrian and because of their regime practices I had to flee away of my country and seek a better future in a different place and because I’ve always been shouting for freedom like the rest of my people so it’s like a victory for us. This is why it was interesting for me.
