I don't know whether it is a traditional story or not, but I think many children find it quite exciting and astonishing. This story is about a magical tree that produces cones. In the village, where many people make a living from farming, one day the villagers discovered that some trees magically produce cones. So they started planting more trees because they thought the more trees they grew, the more cones they would receive. I vividly remember that I was around eight years old when I read that tale in a children's book. I found it a bit childish and unrealistic. Unfortunately, I can't remember the ending, but I think the message was about how important it is to put in real effort instead of relying on miracles in order to achieve our goals in life. At that age, I thought it could be possible to grow that kind of tree, and I started discussing legends with my parents. They reminded me that these kinds of stories are meant to be fun and that I didn't need to analyze every detail of a story.
