I clearly remember the time I lost my wallet. It was a very terrible feeling and that moment my heart sank. My wallet had my cash, my IDs, my bank cards and when I realized that I have lost it, it felt like night. It all started on a normal day when I was headed to my university. On leaving a car, I was juggling with a lot of things and I must have dropped it on the road. I didn’t realize it at the moment but once I stepped inside the university and it was time to enter my attendance to form my shock, my wallet was in there which had my student ID. Soon I realized that I have dropped it on the road so I rushed back on the main road to find it and to try my luck. As I was very eager to find it, I was looking everywhere under every car. I even asked my security guard if he has seen someone picking up something from the road or he might have kept something. But to my surprise, there was not much luck for me and there were just 10 ends. After realizing this, I finally accepted the faith and I saw this hard pill, this tough pill and I have to take the next step. I blocked all my bank cards and I went to the nearest police station to file a report for my lost ID card. After doing all the necessary steps and process, that day I learned a very important lesson that I should be more careful with my important belongings. On the first place, I should never carry my original documents on a regular basis. That incident made me very responsible towards my belongings, especially my wallet. Since then, whenever I’m headed out, I double check my belongings and I make sure that my things are intact and they’re inside my bag. I’m not carrying too many things at one time.
