I was studying in the library for about a year. I remember that sometimes people in the library, my peers, would make noises. It could be coughs when they were ill or cold, or the sound of chairs being moved as people changed positions. Sometimes, even the act of walking along the library floor would create a noise from their chairs. I remember it was very distracting for me because it would pull my focus away from my studies. I couldn't concentrate for a long time after that. It took me a while to get back into the groove of studying.
