When I was 19 years old, my parents and I were going to my uncle's anniversary in Bangkok. He decided to get together to celebrate his anniversary with his wife, so we decided to attend. Even though we tried to get ready quickly to be there on time, we still faced some circumstances that were unlikely to happen. Our car unfortunately broke down, and we were in the middle of the road. The place where the anniversary celebration was held was kind of far away from Tehran, in the suburbs. We didn't know what to do. My father called some car services to repair the car. They arrived, I think, after two hours and tried to fix it. But it was too late, so we had to take a cab. That unfortunate event resulted in our late arrival. All the guests were already there, so it was really awkward. But at the end of the night, we tried to enjoy ourselves and move past that unfortunate event. We tried to celebrate my uncle's anniversary. We even prepared some gifts, but because the cab was really small, we couldn't fit our things in the car. So in the end, we had to leave those presents and go without anything. It was really unfortunate and quite weird. Eventually, my grandmother saw our faces and sensed that something bad had happened to us. She asked what happened, and we explained about our car. I think the engine was at fault or something; I'm not sure. She tried to comfort us.
