So I like to talk about an occasion when I got stuck in a traffic jam, which was about a few weeks ago. On that day, I was on my way to the city center to meet my friends at a local cafe. Since we usually get together once or twice a month, I really wanted to arrive on time. Therefore, I left my home quite early, thinking that I would arrive early with plenty of time to spare. However, after 15 minutes the traffic came to a complete standstill. There had probably been a car accident during peak hours, so the roads were heavily congested. Cars were moving in the sales space and some drivers were honking their horns, which made the situation even more stressful for me. At first I thought that traffic would start moving again within a few minutes. However, as time went by, I started getting increasingly frustrated because I hate keeping people wait for me. And in order to make time pass more quickly, I even scrolled through social media, checked my notifications. But even that didn’t help me. And eventually the journey took almost an hour instead of the usual 20 minutes. And when I finally arrived at the local café, my friends had already ordered their drinks and were waiting for me. In my opinion, the main thing I dislike about traffic jams is that they are completely waste of time. because you just sit there without knowing when the traffic will move again. Also it can be sometimes quite noisy and stressful, which can affect my mood for the rest of the day. And since then I always try to avoid traveling during peak hours if possible. And I have always checked the traffic before going out somewhere.
