We used to play together everyday during class break and we even did our homework together sometimes. We had a lot of fun and shared many good memories after finishing primary school. Rohan moved to another city because his father got a new job. We promised to stay in touch but as time passed we lost contract. Life got busy for both of us with new schools, new friends and other activities. Back then it is not easy to stay connected because we did not have mobile phones or social media. About 6 years later I was browsing through Facebook and I saw his profile. I sent him a friend request and he accepted it. We started conversation and catching up on each other’s life. We talking about the good days, good old days and shared stories about what we have been up to since we last meet. After getting in touch with Rohan again I felt very happy and excited. It felt like reconnecting with a part of my childhood that I had forgotten. We even made plans to meet up when he visit our hometown next year. It was a great feeling to reconnect with an old friend and I am glad we are in touch again.
