Well, I don't have many friends. I'm very choosy when it comes to making friends. So among the three I have, I would like to speak about my closest friend. Her name is Vidpal Kosh. She's almost my age, which is 47. She's married, has two children, and works as a teacher in one of the private schools in my area. We met about 14 or 15 years ago when I was doing my bachelor's in education. On the very first day of college, or rather during the admission process, we became close. I would say we actually became close because we belong to the same married age group. And then the story began. Though we had different sections in college, while commuting on the college bus, we shared a seat and discussed our day and what happened. Of course, sometimes we talked about the syllabus as well. We really had a good time together because whenever we had a break, as I just said, even if we had a chance to sit together on the bus or during college hours, we made sure to go to the canteen at least once a day, even if it was just to have a cup of tea or coffee. We had to spend some time together. I really like her because we are like-minded. We can share almost anything without any bias or fear of being judged. We can speak heart to heart. We can talk to each other without using any linguistic filters, nor do we have to use any emotional filters. There is no kind of barrier while communicating with her. It's a two-way communication. Sometimes we also act as partners in crime. I think it's genuine when you are so close that you know the person is there for you for a lifetime. The beauty of our friendship is that we do not practically use each other. We are not manipulators.
