In the past there were many things I wanted to buy but I couldn't afford. Today I'd like to talk about two of them, a pair of shoes and a windbreaker jacket. A while ago I didn't have my own income so I couldn't spend money on everything that I wanted. Recently I started working again and now I can earn my own money. I feel more independent because I don't have to depend on my family as much as before. After I started working, I decided to put aside some money to buy a few things for myself because of the difficult economic situation and rising prices. It's hard to save up for expensive things these days. Even simple things can cost a fortune, so I couldn't splash out on anything big. Finally, I bought a new pair of shoes and a windbreaker jacket. I was really happy because I could treat myself to something I wanted for a while. I bought both things with my own money. And I'm very satisfied with them. My shoes are comfortable, my jacket is useful, especially in the cold weather. I hope I can make more money in the future so I can afford bigger things.
