I live in Mirpur, which is a part of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The people here are generally really friendly. However, this is an urban neighborhood, so naturally, the community is not as tight-knit as a village community would be. The people are usually office-going working-class individuals, especially in the neighborhood I live in. It's not a very upper-class neighborhood per se, but it's also not a very impoverished neighborhood. Basically, middle-class people live here. Some of the major landmarks of this place include the National Zoo, which is the largest zoo in the country. There are loads of animals there, and people from around the country visit this zoo to get a glimpse of some of the exotic animals. The National Botanical Garden is directly adjacent to the zoo, and that place hosts a plethora of flora and fauna. I especially like the National Botanical Garden because it is far less crowded than the zoo, and the natural beauty of the place is mesmerizing. Compared to the neighborhood I currently live in, I actually dislike my hometown because the urban amenities I have in my current neighborhood are far superior to the facilities in my hometown. For example, I can access hospitals, government offices, and shops really easily from where I live right now. However, in my hometown, I have to travel a great distance to reach these institutions and organizations. So that is why I really prefer the National Zoo.
