I grew up in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Specifically, I lived in a neighborhood called Kalapul. It was a small community, almost like a village within the city. Most of the residents were landlords who had moved from a different district to create this community. It felt like a close-knit family where everyone knew each other and looked out for one another. It was a very friendly and welcoming environment. I have so many fond memories of my childhood there. We were all so innocent and kind to each other. We spent our days playing physical games, like riding bikes, climbing trees, and playing tag. We didn't have much technology back then, so we were always outside, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. I'm truly grateful for the childhood I had in Kalapul. It was a special place. I'm not sure if I would move back there in the future, but if I had the opportunity to live with the same people again, I would definitely consider it. They were like family to me, and I cherish the friendships I made during those years.
