When I was a child, I used to live in the family quarters that were located in the new Lallazar Ravapudi. Basically, it was provided by the army, as the army provides family quarters to its soldiers. So, it was a whole community of army families living there. The houses were built very beautifully, with lawns in front of them. There were supermarkets that contained groceries, stationery, garments, etc. All the basic amenities were there. Other than that, there was a park located near those quarters. In the evening, all the kids used to gather and go there with our parents for an evening walk. We used to play football, cricket, or skate in the skating rink. I really enjoyed living there with my friends. I had so many friends there, and my school was also located near those quarters, so it was only a short distance. I used to go to school with my friends in the morning and come back by bus. One day, I remember it was raining heavily, and it was also hailing. We really enjoyed coming back from school, playing in the rain, and playing in the snowfall. If I ever get the chance to live there again, I would love to take that opportunity because it was a very nice and fun place.
