I really have no idea whether Indian people prefer to live in an apartment, house, flat, or villa. I really don't know because right now I'm living in Cambodia, and all I concern myself with are Cambodian people. However, based on what I've seen in movies and on television, I can see that Indian people like to live in a house because it gives them more freedom to live with an extended family, and they have more chances to interact with each other. They seem to enjoy living in a big house because, in traditional Indian culture, they like to share what they have with their siblings and relatives. So I believe that’s what Indian people prefer. But talking about my country, people here also cannot afford apartments. Therefore, we live in a house and share the rental fee with each other.
