Band 4+: Do you like rainy days?

Your pronunciation is average. It is understandable but not always accurate. Focusing on the rhythm and stress patterns of English could prove beneficial.

The answer partially addresses the question by stating a preference for rainy days, but the response is unclear and lacks coherence. The student mentions reading books, which is a common activity on rainy days, but the connection is not explicitly made. The answer contains grammatical errors and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'It's a little bit of a sound different', 'I know the winter, but we don't know how we were in winter'), which hinder comprehension. To improve, the student should clearly state their opinion on rainy days, provide a reason or example, and ensure the response is grammatically correct and logically structured.

The answer lacks coherence and relevance to the question. The response starts with 'Yes, I like reading these books,' which is unrelated to rainy days. There is no clear organization or development of ideas. Frequent hesitations ('um') and self-corrections disrupt fluency. To improve, directly address the question and structure the answer with a clear opinion and supporting reasons.

The vocabulary is limited and imprecise. Phrases like 'a little bit of a sound different' and 'I know the winter' are unclear and not used accurately. There is no specific vocabulary related to weather or personal preferences. To improve, use a wider range of descriptive words (e.g., 'cozy,' 'refreshing,' 'gloomy') and express ideas more precisely. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

The grammar is often inaccurate and unclear. For example, 'It's a little bit of a sound different' is grammatically incorrect, and 'we don't know how we were in winter' is confusing. There is limited range of structures, with mostly simple sentences. To improve, practice using a variety of sentence structures and ensure subject-verb agreement and clarity.
