Band 5+: Do you like to cook at home or eat outside? Why?

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer stays on topic and directly addresses the question, but it lacks elaboration and depth. The response is repetitive and does not provide specific reasons or examples to support the preference. To improve, consider explaining why cooking at home is more comfortable (e.g., control over ingredients, cost, or relaxation) and contrast it with eating out (e.g., convenience, social aspect). Adding a brief example or personal experience would make the answer more natural and developed.

The answer is coherent and directly addresses the question, but it lacks development and uses repetitive phrasing. To improve, expand on your reasons (e.g., cost, health, enjoyment) and use cohesive devices to link ideas more smoothly. Avoid repeating the same structure ('it's comfortable') and the main point ('I prefer cooking at home') multiple times.

Vocabulary is basic and limited, with the word 'comfortable' used twice. To achieve a higher score, incorporate a wider range of precise vocabulary (e.g., 'cozy,' 'economical,' 'healthier,' 'convenient') and vary your expressions. For example, you could say 'I find cooking at home more relaxing and cost-effective.'

Grammar is mostly accurate, but the sentence structure is simple and repetitive. The phrase 'eating out also comfortable' is missing the verb 'is' (should be 'eating out is also comfortable'). To improve, use a variety of complex structures, such as subordinate clauses (e.g., 'Although eating out is convenient, I prefer cooking at home because...') and ensure all sentences are grammatically complete.
