In my view, learning a song or poem is much easier for adults than for children, as children are not capable of doing much because of their brain and the process of gaining knowledge. They don't understand and don't grasp the meaning of many things, as their brains are not developed very well. However, when it comes to adults, I would say they can grasp things much faster than children because of their developed brains.
