From my perspective, I wouldn’t say people are less committed, but they face considerable challenges today. To begin with, the modern world has a lot of distractions, making it quite challenging to stay focused. In contrast to the past, we have more choices which can challenge our priorities. Nevertheless, many people still achieve long-term goals by learning to adapt to changing circumstances. Overall, I can say that the commitment is there, but it requires a great deal of effort to maintain focus today.
