In my opinion, I would say yes. People in the past are more committed to their goal rather than people are living now. Because in the past, people can promise anyone can also fulfill their promise about anything. But talking about the present time, also the University of Oxford has found that 30% of people are only committed to their goal. They only care about themselves. They don’t care about other people.
