Well, this question doesn't have a certain answer because it really depends on the connection and relationship between the children and their parents. If the parents are supportive, the children would take their advice and use it in their career and future path. On the other hand, if the children aren't very connected with their parents, they would pursue their passions and interests when choosing a major. The lack of experience could lead to some failures along the way.
