Well this question doesn’t have a certain answer because it really depends on the connection and relation between the children and their parents. If the parents are supportive so the children would take their advice and use the advice in their career and their following path. But on the other hand if the children aren’t very connected with their parents they would go for their passions and interests in choosing a major because and the lack of experiences would lead to somehow the failures between the way.
