Actually that’s something I’ve never thought about it before, but if I have to answer this question, I would probably say that there are a few ways of combating them. For example, government can create some new laws against this misinformation and fight new spread. For example, they can put fine to someone that spreads it or contributes to this spread. Also, there should be some limits in sharing news. I remember before posting it, some individuals, responsible individuals should check them first. So if the news, if the article is correct and true or not, I think that’s one of the best ways of stopping their widespread.
