Here I would like to talk about a story that my parents told me, and I clearly remember it was a Harshad Mehta story. I remember when my father and I were discussing finance, he told me the story of Harshad Mehta, a famous stockbroker in the early 1990s, also known as the Big Bull of Dalal Street. He was involved in a big scam as an Indian stockbroker. He found loopholes in the banking industry and manipulated the stock using banking. But luckily, after some time, he was caught by reporters who published the evidence to the public. It's the end of a person's matter. With this money, he lived a luxurious life for some years, but it clearly shows that making money through dishonesty and greed is not long-lasting. It is not just a story; it is a valuable lesson that we have morals and ethics that are important while earning money and in professionalism. My father told me this story not just for entertainment but also for me to understand the hard work we have to do in life. I feel that the story is very meaningful. It shows how he was an ambitious and intelligent person, but on the other hand, he was very dangerous and a product of greedy corruption. I hear the news about the stock market, and it immediately taught me there.
