I think so because children have their own personalities and preferences when it comes to books. But one thing that is imperative is that parents need to control what the children choose. For example, on your mobile phone, you have parental controls for YouTube or TikTok videos. It should be the same in the library. Parents should let the children choose the books they want, but they need to control what the children end up buying.
