One street market I've visited is Al Balad Market in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It's located in the historic district of the city, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The market offers both old and new experiences, with narrow streets and traditional buildings that give it an authentic feel. You can buy traditional abayas and thobes, as well as spices, perfumes, gold jewelry, and dates, all well-known in Saudi Arabia. One unique thing about Al Balad Market is the availability of antiques and items reflecting Saudi Arabian culture. The market is famous for its rich history and authenticity. It's one of the few places where you can get a feel for the true, authentic traditional Saudi lifestyle. It's often crowded with both locals and tourists. Personally, I felt a strong connection to the traditional Saudi culture.
