On memorable occasion when I invited a friend for a meal was during my brother weddings. I asked my dear friend who lives just a couple of kilometers away from my house to join us. The celebration took place at the Kathmandu Hotel and enhanced in events situated in the heart of Kathmandu Valley where we are surrounded by family and neighbors making it one more special. The wedding was a vibrant event filled with cultural rhythm not only did we receive blessing from our relatives but we also immersed ourselves in the atmosphere of love and respect that filled the air. I especially enjoyed the time spent with my little brother as well as interacting with both the grooms and bride families. This gathering truly allows to bond and create lasting memories. The celebration was highlighted by music and dance where many guests join us festivities. Sharing lotteries and joys of playful moments arose when we mysteriously hide my brother’s shoes sparking a fond source that everyone in stitches. We also engaged in card games which connected us to deeply our roots and entertained the guests who were present creating live memories throughout the evening. Rebellating on that night I realized how much I cherish our cultural tradition especially during significant event like wedding. The registry behind our costumes including the marriage as usual we experienced was both educational and enjoyable. The evening lasted amazing on Mefield with firm laughter and a strong connection to my family and friends. This truly was a wonderful time spent together.
